"Grove" was the second part of the Spades Project. This exterior installation was exhibited in late spring, following the gallery installation "Optical White."

“Grove” consisted of 1300 spades arranged in a grid on an acre of land. The piece was next to a highway and as you traveled past, the spades created a visual undulation.
